The Three Stooges
Combat Assimilation
Never the subject of complaints.
This only applies for skills that fall under Martial Weapons, Hand-to-Hand Combat, or Sword/Sabre Combat.
This skill is used when you are fighting someone with a skill you do not know or have at a high level, and you can learn the skill from fighting them.
Combat Assimilation is made redundant if the opponent has an equal/higher level in Deception. If the opponent completely disengages before the end of the combat scenario, the ability is not learnt. The player with combat assimilation being beaten does not count as disengaging.
The Mastery in Combat Assimilation
If one has The Mastery, they automatically get Mastery in the skill they fought against during the fight while it is happening (after 5 actions of facing that ability).
Extreme Mastery in Combat Assimilation
If one has Extreme Mastery, they automatically get Highly Proficient in the skill they primarily fought against after the fight is over (must have fought against that single ability for over 10 actions)
Mastery in Combat Assimilation
If one has Mastery, they automatically get Proficient in the ability they primarily fought against after the fight is over (must have fought against that single ability for over 15 actions)
Highly Proficient in Combat Assimilation
If one is Highly Proficient, they automatically get Skilled in the ability they primarily fought against after the fight is over (must have fought against that single ability for over 15 actions)
Proficient in Combat Assimilation
If one is Proficient, they automatically get Skilled in the ability they primarily fought against after the fight is over (must have fought against that single ability for over 20 actions)
Skilled in Combat Assimilation
If one is Skilled, they automatically get Skilled in the ability they primarily fought against after the fight is over (must have fought against that single ability for over 25 actions)
Combat Assimilation can only be used once every three months if at the level of Mastery or above. For those Highly Proficient or lower, it can be used twice every three months.
Force Assimilation
Nerfed literally upon RP introduction.
This is the ability for a Force User to replicate Force Abilities through encountering them and not learning them.
This ability can only be used in a legitimate combat encounter, not through a training scenario. This, of course, can be gained from analysing an enemy, as long as the combat encounter is legitimate.
The ability is a concentration ability that must be used mid-combat or mid-combat scenario (if one isn’t engaging in the scenario itself but watching at a close-distance). It takes a set amount of actions to do, and leaves the user only able to do the most rudimentary/basic of movements, attacks, and blocks; while they focus in on the ability they want to replicate.
The ability chosen for replication doesn’t have to be used continuously to focus on it, only once. However, if the process is interrupted for any reason (be that a moderately powerful stimuli, attack, or disengage from the user themselves), then the targeted ability must be used independently again to be focused on again.
When in the concentrated state, the user is also automatically consenting to the risk of a PK or Serious Injury.
This ability can be detected by an active usage of Force Sense at a higher level than the Force Replication of the user (equal is contextual). If successful, an equal or higher level of Force Stealth would interrupt the user’s replication attempt. An accidental/coincidental use of Force Stealth would also do the trick.
The Master in Force Replication
If one is successful with The Master, they automatically get Mastery in the skill ability replicated. The replication takes 1 action to perform.
The Mastery in Force Replication
If one is successful with The Mastery, they automatically get Mastery in the ability they replicated. The replication takes 5 actions to perform.
Extreme Mastery in Force Replication
If one is successful with Extreme Mastery, they automatically get Mastery in the ability they replicated. The replication takes 10 actions to perform.
Mastery in Force Replication
If one is successful with Mastery, they automatically get Highly Proficient in the ability they replicated. The replication takes 3 actions to perform.
Highly Proficient in Force Replication
If one is successful with High Proficiency, they automatically get Proficient in the ability they replicated. The replication takes 3 actions to perform.
Proficient in Force Replication
If one is successful with Proficient, they automatically get Proficient in the ability they replicated. The replication takes 5 actions to perform.
Skilled in Force Replication
If one is successful with Skilled, they automatically get Skilled in the ability they replicated. The replication takes 3 actions to perform.
Force Replication can only be used once every 3 months, regardless of level.
Pattern Recognition
God's most powerful ability?
This applies for any ability used by an opponent to attack the player in a legitimate combat encounter.
This ability lowers the skill level of an ability you have fought against by one tier. This ability stacks, as in, you can repeat the process again and lower an ability by two tiers, etc.
Pattern Recognition is countered by: Deception (though one must be actively using it), Improvised Hand-to-Hand and Sabre Combat, Drunken Hand-to-Hand Combat, and Juyo/Vaapad/Rakatan Sabre Combat.
It should be briefly explained the mechanics of lowering an ability. You do not actually lower the output of an ability, as in, if someone is still capable of producing building destroying lightning due to their level, this is what they will still do. But the relative skill of the ability compared to your character is lowered by x amount of tiers. So, you could dodge that Mastery Force Lightning as if it was Highly Proficient, etc.
It cannot be stressed enough that if one wants to use Pattern Recognition to its fullest, they should record it on a Google Document somewhere, preferably with message links.
The Master in Pattern Recognition
If one has The Master, they reduce the abilities they have fought against before by one tier after having seen them for two actions.
The Mastery in Pattern Recognition
If one has The Mastery, they reduce the abilities they have fought against before by one tier after having seen them for three actions.
Extreme Mastery in Pattern Recognition
If one has Extreme Mastery, they reduce the abilities they have fought against before by one tier having seen them for five actions.
Mastery in Pattern Recognition
If one has Mastery, they reduce the abilities they have fought against before by one tier having seen them for 10 actions.
Highly Proficient in Pattern Recognition
If one is Highly Proficient, they reduce the abilities they have fought against before by one tier having seen them for 15 actions.
Proficient in Pattern Recognition
If one is Proficient, they reduce the abilities they have fought against before by one tier having seen them for 25 actions.
Skilled in Pattern Recognition
If one is Skilled, they reduce the abilities they have fought against before by one tier having seen an ability for 40 actions.
Note: The abilities witnessed don't have to be for the same person, or need to be in the same combat encounter. For example, if you need to see it for five actions, then you could see it three times in one combat against X person, and 2 times in another combat against Y person. And that would then add up to five.
To train Pattern Recognition, one must take part in PvP events and do strategy. The system isn't fully ironed out yet.
