Background: CT-0343 was a clone trooper captain who served in the Grand Army of the Republic , in the special forces 811th Whistle Battalion.

Sidewinder was a member of an unknown clone group who was deployed to the planet of Sidewinder, an ice world that served as a critical political turning point at the beginning of the Clone Wars. A senator on Sidewinder who had a bill that could outright end the War was under the protection of Sidewinder's clone force, before they were all murdered by Krosha Morze. Sidewinder, for whatever reason, was spared; and eventually was rotated to the suicide platoon in the 332nd at his own volition. Due to his experiences on the planet, the clone changed his name to Sidewinder.

After his efforts upon arriving in the Universe of Fracture on Kuat, helping to save General Ahsoka Tano and Marshal Commander CC-5597 "Jesse" from the local Imperial Garrison as well as helping the 332nd Legion escape planet, Sidewinder and most of Whistle Platoon was promoted, with the clone in question promoted to Captain.

Speed: High D Combat Speed

Abilities: Mastery in Cloaking Devices, Traps, Camouflage, Throwing Knives, and Espionage. Highly Proficient in Mandalorian Sabre Combat, Dagger Combat, and Mandalorian Hand-to-Hand Combat. Proficient in Throwables and Ground Vehicles. Begun Training in Blaster Pistols, Jetpacks, and Blaster Rifles.

Equipment: Skilled with DC-15A, and DC-15S Carbine; Begun Training in DP-23; Phase 2 Beskar Clone Trooper Armour; 3 Thermal Detonators; 6 Smoke Grenades; Utility Belt with: Ammunition, Grappling Hook, Basic Medical Supplies, Multitool; 5 Throwing Knives; 1 Steel Dagger.

Weaknesses: Sidewinder cannot shut up or stop joking around, unless he is actively attempting to remain hidden on a stealth mission. This flaw reaches the point where he leaves himself open to attack if getting stabbed would make for a good pun, and will distract himself commenting on his enemies’ appearance. Sidewinder does not enjoy or hate using blasters, he is indifferent to them. Having a habit for stealth, he “dislikes the way blasters glow” and thus never bothered training in the weapons, always opting to train in the things he enjoys. As such, Sidewinder is his own worst enemy, having almost no range and often sabotaging himself. A swift sniper shot from the distance should put him down with ease. Sidewinder is always up to do something in combat for the sake of a joke or gag. If someone were to ask him to beat someone else to death with their own skull, he will certainly give it a go. His cybernetic left arm can also be shorted out with an EMP pulse.
