Later in his life after deserting the Empire, he discovered that he had the rare ability of Battle Meditation, deciding to use this for the better as a fleet commander with the Galactic Syndicate.

Any skilled lightsaber combatant would take him down in combat with relative ease due to his lack of skill, further; his lack of skill in a defensive form leaves him extremely vulnerable to sustained blaster fire. Enraging him would likely yield great results, as he would stray from his calm and calculated regular self, his techniques quickly faltering.
