Background: Savage Opress was the younger brother of Maul and older brother of Feral. A Force-sensitive Dathomirian Nightbrother, he became a Sith apprentice under Count Dooku and later became a Sith Lord, apprenticed to Maul, who was a renegade Sith Lord during the Clone Wars.

Originally a tribal leader on Dathomir, Opress was handpicked by the Nightsister Asajj Ventress to become her "mate" and servant following her gruelling tests of Selection, as part of her bid for revenge on her former Master, the Sith Lord Count Dooku. In accordance with their plot against Dooku, Mother Talzin and her Nightsister witches employed their dark magic to grant Opress fearsome abilities, such as a strong, raw connection to the Force and domineering physical power. After murdering his beloved brother Feral in a display of loyalty to Ventress, Opress continued to train under Ventress, until she reconciled with Dooku and Savage was cast aside.

Opress established himself as a dangerous warrior and a force to be reckoned with. Mother Talzin sent him on a quest to seek his long-lost brother and Talzin's son, Maul. Opress was led to the junkyard world of Lotho Minor by the Talisman of Finding, where he found his brother Maul, a deranged and broken shell of his former self. He brought his brother back to Dathomir and to Talzin, who restored both his mind and his legs. She then left the pair together as Maul became reconnected with the drastically-changed galaxy around him. He and Opress then joined forces, embarking on a quest to exact vengeance on Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, sowing death and chaos throughout the galaxy as they went. The two formed the Shadow Collective, managing to take Mandalore with the help of the Republic.

However, Opress would eventually retire after the disappearance of his brother, living on a farm in peace to grow corn.

Speed: Middle C

Abilities: Superhuman Strength and Durability. Mastery in Martial Weapons, Survival Skills, Traps, Throwables, Saberstaffs, and Improvised Hand-to-Hand. Has no lightsaber form, instead Savage relies on his brute strength and overwhelming physical power. Skilled in Mental Shielding. Begun Training in Juyo.

Notable Force Abilities: Mastery in Force Choke, Force Wave, Force Rage, and Saber Throw. Highly Proficient in Alter Damage, Proficient in standard Banite Dark Acolyte Dark Side abilities. Skilled in Deadly Sight.

Weaknesses: Savage is a brute and does not use his brain as much in battle, forgoing thought to put more power into his strikes. In the face of someone with greater technique and who can withstand the strength of his blows, his skills break down quickly and he finds himself at a loss. His rage can lead him to make clouded decisions and blindly charge at foes on the battlefield. Due to the magic the Nightsisters put in him, he can be put to sleep by them.
