Name: B1-A Air Battle Droid

Background: B1-A air battle droid were battle droids in the Separatist Droid Army that utilized jetpacks and a personal shield. 

Their design shared design characteristics with that of the B1-Series battle droids though were more bulky in appearance in a similar vein as the B2 super battle droid.

These droids were equipped with two short blades, arm-mounted blasters, and a shield that could block lightsabers. In addition, they possessed a built-in repulsor pack allowing them to hover on the battlefield and gave them a high degree of mobility allowing them to either harass enemies from a distance or charge at them in close quarter combat.

Speed: Middle H Combat Speed

Abilities: Proficient in Jetpacks and Programmed Sabre Combat. Skilled in Throwables and Energy Shields. 

Perk: I Believe I Am Able To Fly

Equipment: Skilled in Arm Mounted Blasters; Two Durasteel Blades; Energy Shield; Repulsor Pack; 4 Thermal Detonators

Weaknesses: The energy shield of the B1-A Battle Droid can only be used when on the ground, and typically can only withstand 2 direct strikes from a lightsaber (or 5 blaster bolts) before it breaks. While in the air, the B1-A is easy to shoot down, given if their wings are struck they lose control of their flight control and typically crash to the ground. The B1-A has a variety of options at close-range or distance, however, struggles in rapidly switching between the two. Thus, gaining distance while it comes close, or going in while it stays afar; will allow one to potentially overwhelm the droid before it can switch its attack pattern.
