Name: ARC-2600 "Thresh"

Rank: Sergeant

Tier: Low 3

Background: ARC-2600 known by his comrades as "Thresh," was a Human male clone of Jango Fett, created for the Grand Army of the Republic approximately a decade before the Battle of Geonosis. Initially designated as CT-2600. Thresh began his military career as a standard Clone Trooper. His journey into the elite forces of the 501st Legion commenced shortly after the Battle of Geonosis, marking the beginning of his distinguished service in the Clone Wars.

Thresh quickly established himself as a formidable presence on the battlefield. His fearless eagerness to engage the ene my, coupled with an aggressive and proactive attitude, made him an invaluable asset in combat. This boldness was reminiscent of legendary soldiers, always at the forefront of the fray, leading charges against the Separatists. His actions during these early campaigns did not go unnoticed, earning him both admiration and a reputation for bravery among his peers.

During one of these early campaigns, Thresh met a fellow clone trooper known as "Phoenix." The two soldiers found an immediate connection, their shared experiences and mutual respect forming a strong bond. The pairs unique skillsets often complemented each other, creating a dynamic partnership that was instrumental in several key battles. Their friendship provided a rare sense of camaraderie amidst the chaos of war, offering support and loyalty to each other in times of need.

As the war progressed, Republic Intelligence identified a critical shortage of troopers capable of performing the specialized roles required by the Alpha-Class Advanced Recon Commandos. These elite soldiers were essential for reconnaissance and providing strategic military support to the Jedi. In response to this need, the Beta-Class ARC Trooper program was established, aiming to train a new generation of highly skilled troopers. Thresh was among the first clones selected for this rigorous program, a testament to his exceptional capabilities.

Transitioning from a frontline soldier to an ARC Trooper, Thresh's training in the Special Operations Brigade refined his skills, making him adept at both independent operations and supporting Jedi commanders in complex military tactics. Despite his new role, Thresh remained deeply connected to the 501st Legion, periodically rotating through various System Armies and units, including the prestigious Rancor Battalion.

His reputation continued to grow, not only for his combat prowess but also for his unwavering loyalty and camaraderie. Thresh's eagerness to face danger head-on and his consistent display of courage and dedication earned him profound respect and solidified his place as a key figure in the Republic's military efforts. His journey from a standard Clone Trooper to a revered ARC Trooper exemplifies the heroism and resilience that defined the soldiers of the Grand Army of the Republic. After being promoted to the rank of ARC Sergeant, he took the Clone Trooper "Blinkers" under his wing.

Weaknesses: Thresh, like many in the 501st, reflects the aggressive nature of their General, Anakin Skywalker; favouring bold, high-impact strategies that leave enemies reeling. However, this overconfidence can be exploited by baiting him into traps or rigged scenarios. An overconfidence that exists doubly so thanks to Thresh’s experience as an ARC Trooper. Thresh’s unwavering loyalty to his brothers is another weakness, as he will do anything to protect them, even if it risks his own safety or the mission. This should be exploited by a mindful combatant. Additionally, Thresh holds strong dislike for droids and occasional trigger-happy tendencies can lead to impulsive decisions, making him vulnerable in situations that require patience or careful planning.
