Name: Mandalorian Powertech
Rank: Mandalorian
Tier: Middle 3
Background: The Mandalorian Powertechs were a group created by Mand'alor the Reclaimer in order to attempt to counter the Alpha ARC Troopers of the Republic. Using the muscle from Clan Signis and then upgrading them with Powertech Suits, which were powered sets of armour. They were known for their use of wrist-mounted flamethrowers and personal energy shields as well as their ability to absorb impressive amounts of damage in battle.
After the downfall of Mand'alor the Reclaimer, the Powertech idea and force spread out through Mandalore, to other clans and houses.
Speed: +1 level to Combat Speed (with suit) | No change with suit
Abilities:
Superhuman Strength and Durability with Suit
+1 level in Jetpacks
-2 levels in Weapon Instinct
-1 level in Camouflage
-1 level in Blaster Pistols
Perk: Lethal Ejection
In dangerous situations, the Powertech can eject the powercore of their suits and create a massive explosion behind them, one-shotting anyone Tier 3 or lower.
Equipment: Highly Proficient with Beskar Powertech suit with: Wrist-Mounted Flamethrower and Energy Shields which can absorb a significant quantity of damage; Proficient in Wrist Rocket Launchers; Mandalorian Beskar Armour; Mandalorian Heavy Repeater/SHUKUR-05 Light Repeater; JT-12 Jetpack; Utility Belt & Pouches with: Medical Supplies, Power Packs, Ration Capsules, and 2 V-1 Thermal Detonators; Spare Powercore for suit.
Weaknesses: Cocky and arrogant fighters. Easily led into a trap where they believe they can succeed in a fight. Always try to best the strongest opponent around.
Those who wear the Powertech armour get too comfortable with it. If one were to engage the Mandalorian outside of them wearing the armour, they would be much less of a threat. However, if the Powertech were to train outside of the suit, they would lose skill in it, no longer being able to use it to full capacity. Powertechs who are new to using it will feel overconfident and indestructible, and as such, are much easier prey. Only the most veteran of users can ignore the psychological effects. One can still abuse a powertech with the Force, and the use of an EMP would render the Mandalorian useless, stuck inside a metal coffin that cannot open.
