Name: Krokar Vark

Rank: Member of the Eternal Liberation Front

Tier: High 4

Background: Krokar Vark was born to the GearWing Tribe of Strix on Qidel in 41 bby to Ariela Vark and an unknown father of the Zeltron species. Being a half-breed, Krokar developed human-like eyes which caused him to be shunned from his immediate family.

However, he was not outright exiled, and with enough observation, he quickly learned how to construct blasters and left home with his experience to work for a company out in the galaxy to make a name for himself, even if it meant exposing himself to humans.

He spent a few years jumping from place to place before landing a job as a designer of the AEF. With them, he helped design a number of blasters, and his magnum opus, the Monitor-Class Light Freighter, a luxury starship with a unique hexagon-patterned Hardlight shield generator. While markedly expensive, it was quite popular with more elite clients than those who would customize the more middle-class friendly YT-1300 of the same weight class.

Recently, he's felt that AEF has been shunning his designs in favor of more directly competitive models, so he's packed up his workshop and gone independent, doing freelance engineering for anyone needing a mechanic and an extra blaster on their next job, and in a galaxy at war, there are certainly plenty of takers. Krokar would eventually meet with the bounty hunter known as Ji'im, and join his Eternal Liberation Front.

Weaknesses: Krokar’s main combat advantage comes in the ability to fly, as such, confined spaces are to reduce this advantage. Leading Krokar into a combat environment with reduced space and area is likely to allow one to achieve victory to a vastly easier degree. Like many avians, Krokar’s bones are hollow, and while this provides additional resistance to torsion; their bones are quite susceptible to both shear stress and compressive stress. As such, blunt force trauma is particularly effective against Krokar in a combat scenario. They are also lighter, meaning their physical strength is not as great as the average mammalian individual. Attacking Krokar’s wings to remove his ability to fly is another possible attack option, though the layers of feathers make cutting trauma less effective.
