Name: Nyxara Vash

Background: Nyx was born on a remote planet she can’t quite remember in 3653 BBY. It was lush and home to serene landscapes. She lived with her non-force-sensitive parents in a small village with others in exile. 

When she was four years old, a band of Zakuulians working for the Empire came to her home planet to assert their power. Their family home was raided and her parents were killed by a man’s yellow blade. This was done as young Nyx lay on the floor playing with their loth kitten. One of the knights sensed she had force powers and kidnapped her and the cat, knocking them both out on their way back to Zakuul. The knight would then partially defect, opting to raise her themselves in order to curry favour with the Empire. For the next ten years, Nyxara can’t remember much other than being trained by her kidnapper as a gift for Valkorion. Sometime in this stretch, Zakuul was taken to the current universe, now living in 19 BBY.

As a young teen, Nyxara had severely underdeveloped social skills, focus, and all other life aspects. The only thing at her side was the old family loth cat. She lived with the knight until sixteen when she ran away and lived on the streets of their poor district. Her rudimentary survival skills were up to par, but her inability to express trauma left her emotionally stunted. She often experienced fits of rage, during which her untamed force powers would manifest in destructive outbursts. These episodes further isolated her, and any potential allies or sympathizers being pushed away; and being partially on the run as a unchecked Force Sensitive. Nyx spent her teenage years in solitude, alone, distrustful, and wanting out.

Abilities: Highly Proficient with Improvised Hand-to-Hand Combat. Proficient in Survival Skills, Shii-Cho, and Niman. Skilled in Shield Combat, Saberpikes, Animal Handling, Deception, Manipulation, Mechanical Mind, Crafting, Martial Weapons, and Zakuul Hand-to-Hand Combat. 

Notable Force Abilities: Mastery in Thought Shield. Highly Proficient in Force Grip. Proficient in Force Wave. Skilled in Force Healing.

Weaknesses: Nyxara has little social skills or mental defensive faculties in regards to non-Force based intrusion; and as such, manipulation and deception should be employed as much as possible in order to gain an advantage in a combat scenario. Nyxara is impulsive and aggressive, and this should be exploited to full effect in a combat scenario, baiting her and causing her to exhaust herself through her press. Nyxara gets easily attached to people and things, and one should also attempt to exploit these attachments in order to garner a keen psychological advantage. And finally, while nimble, her frame is small; and a physically dominant approach may be apt.
